Site terms in plain words
Site terms: the office's part and the car company's part in a reserved ride
These terms apply when you use this site to ask for a ride between an address in Salt Lake County and Salt Lake City International Airport. They set out what the office does, what the car company does, and what we need from you. Sending a request means you accept them; reading the pages alone commits you to nothing.
Effective October 13, 2026. Travels by Tracie LLC, 10 W 100 S, Suite 621, Salt Lake City, UT 84101.
1 Operator of the site, and its role
Travels by Tracie LLC runs this site from its office at 10 W 100 S, Suite 621, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. In these terms it is called the office, or we. The office takes a request for a ride between an address in Salt Lake County and the airport, in either direction, asks one local car company that serves your corner for its written fare, and passes your yes back to that company. Arranging and relaying is the whole of the service; the driving belongs to the company.
2 Duties the local company carries
Every ride is carried out by the local car company that accepted it, and from the moment that company confirms, the ride is a matter between you and it. The office picks it because it serves your corner of the county. The car company:
- drives the ride, with its own vehicle and its own driver
- sets the final price in its written fare
- confirms the ride in writing, or declines it
- takes payment from you directly
- answers for the ride itself: the vehicle, the driver and the timing on the road
3 Starting figures against the written fare
Prices shown on this site are starting figures: from $90 for a sedan and from $120 for an SUV, per car, each way, in the shortest of six road-mile bands, rising with the road miles to the terminal. They show where a fare begins. The car company's written fare sets the actual price of your ride, and once you say yes and the company confirms, that written fare becomes a fixed rate for that ride.
The written fare may add to that figure for waiting past the time it names, for garage parking when the driver meets you inside at baggage claim, for extra stops, or for a gratuity it does not already include. The fare names any of these it applies to, so you see them before you agree.
4 When a reservation actually exists
A booking exists only once the car company confirms it in writing. Until then nothing is held for you: a request, a written fare, a phone call with the office or your own yes does not reserve a car by itself. The company's written confirmation names the ride it has accepted, so check its date, pickup time, address, flight number and car size, and tell the office at once if anything in it is wrong.
5 Card numbers never pass through here
Riders pay the office nothing. This site takes no payment, asks for no card and keeps no payment details, and the quote is free, with no obligation. You pay the car company for the ride, directly and on its terms. If a message that claims to come from the office asks you for a card number, it did not come from us: leave it unanswered and let the office know by phone or email.
6 Your details and your flight changes
For a pickup at the terminal, the flight number goes to the company, and its written fare says how it handles an early or late landing; a change of landing time is yours to report. A flight moved to another day is a change of date, and the company's terms decide what it involves, so send that change to the office or the company as soon as you know it.
A ride can only be as accurate as the request behind it, and the company relies on what you write when it sets the fare and plans the car. Before you send a request, and again before you say yes, please make sure of the following:
- the address, ride date and pickup time are right
- the flight number is the one you will actually fly on
- the count of people, checked bags and child seats is complete
- a needed ramp or lift is asked for in the request
7 Site hours, reply times and ride dates
The online form takes requests 24/7. The site itself may go offline at times, for upkeep or for reasons outside the office's control, and we cannot promise that every page loads at every moment. The phone is answered on weekdays from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mountain time.
Any request that comes in while the phone is answered, with at least 90 minutes left before it closes, receives a written reply inside 90 minutes; anything else is answered within the first hour after the phone next opens. Rides are arranged from the day after that reply is due. A request holds no car: the company may be unable to cover a date or an hour, and if so the office tells you in writing and nothing is owed.
8 Where the office's responsibility ends
The office answers for its own part: reading your request with care, putting it to a company that serves your corner, sending you that company's written fare and passing your answer back within the reply times above. If we get that part wrong, tell us, and we will set it right with the company while it can still be set right.
The driving, the vehicle, the timing on the road, the price and any refund belong to the car company under its written terms, and the office does not answer for them. Road miles and minutes printed on this site were measured at a quiet hour and serve as a guide; traffic and weather can make a ride longer. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that Utah law gives you and does not allow you to give up.
9 Utah law and Salt Lake County courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. If a disagreement with the office cannot be settled by writing to us first, it is heard in the courts that sit in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you and the office both accept those courts. A disagreement about the ride itself, its price or a refund falls under the car company's own written terms.
10 Words, drawings and pictures on these pages
The text, the grid chart, the terminal drawings and the pictures on this site belong to Travels by Tracie LLC, and you may quote or share a page for your own ride planning with a link back. If you believe something here uses work that belongs to you, write to rides@travelsbytracie.com and name the page; the office answers by the reply rule and removes anything that turns out to be yours.
11 How these terms may be updated
The office may revise these terms when the service or the law changes. The revised text goes on this page, and a request is handled under the terms that stood on the day you sent it. Questions about any of this go to rides@travelsbytracie.com, or to +1 (801) 363-4718 during phone hours.
